Waterfalls
A must-see during a stay in Morocco, the Ouzoud waterfalls – meaning the Berber olives tree waterfalls – which are 110 meters high on the river. They are both touristic and wild, you can swim, stroll, hike and enjoy the wonders of its nature.
Located in the province of Azilal, Ouzoud waterfalls will offer you a day away from the hustle and bustle of the city. Culimnating at 110 meters high, you will discover the highest waterfalls of North Africa.
After having crossed 150 km separating Marrakech from Ouzoud, the plain of Haouz and a succession of small villages, you will get the opportunity to approach the waterfalls during a walk where you will be greeted by our famous Barbaries monkeys.
You could anjoy the setting in a restaurant with panoramic view and, for the most adventurous, swim in the river at the foot of the waterfalls. In all cases, this little paradise will make you spend a day in the heart of the unique fauna and flora of the Atlas.
