Day 1: Marrakech – Faïja plateau

• Early departure from Marrakech for a journey to the Faija plateau, crossing the most beautiful and highest road of the country and enjoying a diversity of landscapes.
• Before our arrival, We will also cross Zagora, the city which opens the doors of the Sahara’s desert.
• We will end the day in the plateau of Faija where the trekking team (camel drivers & cook chef) await us to a spend a friendly evening all toegether, on the camp already set up by their care.

Day 2: Faija plateau – Oued Lemhasser (± 6 hours walking)

• After taking strength from breakfast, the hike begins with the crossing of the Foum Laachar pass, located in the mountaine of Djbel Bani.
• After enjoying lunch at the foot of the Diabi’s oasis, We will cross a dry river to reach Oued Lemhasser, where We can meet nomadic families living in such basic conditions.

Day 3: Oued Lemhasser – Chegaga Dunes ( ± 6 hours walking)

• After breakfast, We will cross the stone desert until We reach the « sacred oasis » for the lunch.
• The afternoon hike will lead us to the gates of the big Sahara, facing sand dunes of Chegaga, where we Will set up the camp to spend the night beteween the dunes and admire a wonderful sunset.

Day 4: Chegaga Dunes – Bougarn Dunes ( ± 5:30 hours walking)

• This morning, We will leave Chegaga Dunes heading to dunes of Oued Laatach.
• After enjoying lunche under the tamaris trees, We will have around an hour’s walk to reach the stuning dunes of Bougarn.

Day 5: Bougarn Dunes – Oued Naam ( ± 5:30 hours walking)

• After waking up early to enjoy the sunrise and delicious breakfast, We will experience a day immersed between magnificent dunes area and more platonic landscapes to get to Oued Naam.
• Once the camp is settled, We will prepare an excellent sand bread with our cook chef.

Day 6: Oued Naam – Ouled Driss ( ± 5:30 hours walking)

• After breakfast, We will start a day of adventure in the heart of Sahara with a bird’s view of the Jbel Bani moutain range.
• We will finish our trek in a bivouac in Ouled driss, where You can take a shower, rest and share your experience with Berbers people around a campfire and music.

Day 7: Ouled Driss – Marrakech

• After a relaxing night and the farewells of our trekking team, We will leave in our private transport along Draa Valley, Ourzazate and Tichka pass to return to Marrakech.
